West Elm Outlet Prices

West Elm Outlet and all their sister outlet companies, Pottery Barn Outlet and Williams Sonoma Outlet, have adopted a weekly rotational model with their discounts. Each week, the percentage off certain furniture categories will change.

Fortunately, West Elm Outlet doesn’t expect you to memorize their weekly discount sign. You’ll notice red signs scattered all around the outlet store to remind you what that furniture category’s specific discount is that week.

West Elm furniture is tagged with the online retail price. It is important to realize that the tag is NOT the final price at checkout. You will need to do a little mental math (or pull out your handy-dandy phone calculator) to determine your grand total.

What is a typical discount at West Elm Outlet?

The standard discount ranges from 30%- 70% off. More popular items like sofas and accent chairs tend to fall into that 30% discount range. Due to furniture shortages as a result of the pandemic, they decreased their standard discount from 40% off to 30% off. Wah.

Items in the 70% off range generally include West Elm kids, bedding, curtains, and textiles.

You can also find incredible deals on seasonal décor once that season is nearing its’ end or once it has passed. I got these adorable glass Christmas trees for 90% off a couple of weeks before Christmas!

I have found that West Elm Outlets also do various “Manager Specials,” often on overstock items that need to get cleared out.

Be on the lookout for those signs, as the savings are generally very high. I have seen them do this for West Elm lighting ($99), roman shades ($19.97), ottomans ($49.97), and so much more.

What is the best day to go to the West Elm Outlet?

Truck Delivery Days

The absolute best time to plan your visit to a West Elm Outlet is around their furniture delivery days. Doing so will guarantee your selection of the newest inventory. Truck days will vary from store to store, and sometimes even from week to week!

I recommend calling your West Elm Outlet to confirm delivery days. Ask them if it is best to shop ON the delivery day or the day after. Some outlets pull new inventory out the day of, while others need a little more time.

With that in mind, shopping during the week at any outlet is recommended. Outlets typically do not receive delivery trucks on the weekend, so the selection will be more picked over by then.

Holidays

West Elm Outlet, and really all outlets everywhere, tend to save their best discounts for holiday shopping. It isn’t uncommon to find West Elm Outlet running a 50% off promotion around this time. This will result in fantastic savings on those typically lower discounted items, like West Elm sofas.

Shopping during holidays in a double-edged sword. Deeper discounts, yes, but also substantially larger crowds. I recommend getting to your West Elm Outlet prior to open, if possible, to ensure that you are the first in line.

Does the West Elm Outlet Deliver?

While the West Elm Outlets typically do not have an in-house delivery company, they often have third party recommendations. Head straight for the register for more information or keep an eye out for possible signs scattered throughout the store.

I also have some recommendations for third party delivery, including a list of moving apps like Dolly, or truck rentals from places like Home Depot. These options are often cheaper in price than the store recommendation.

Do West Elm Outlets ship?

Unfortunately, West Elm Outlets do not ship. Due to an increase in credit card fraud, they have discontinued the ability to place orders over the phone.
