I often see people commenting that they can’t shop at the outlets because they don’t own a truck. This simply just is not true. There are options for getting items from the outlet back to your home. if you aren’t able to physically go to the store, I recommend finding a personal shopper local to the outlet via TaskRabbit. You can also find a list information on personal shoppers here.
- Although most outlets do not offer in-house delivery options, many do partner with third party delivery companies. Head straight to the register and ask them if they have any recommendations. Every outlet I have been to has a few business cards of local moving companies.
2. Google search for local moving companies in the outlets’ area. Since these companies’ sole business model is transporting furniture extended distances, this is a great option.
3. Go straight to the App Store on your phone and search “Moving & Delivery.” Doing so will pull up a TON of options. These apps act a lot like uber, where you are hiring someone to, instead of driving you, drive your items to a specified location. The one most often utilized to deliver furniture out of my area is uship.

Some other apps that I have seen outlets near me partner with are Lugg, Dolly, Uber Freight, and TaskRabbit.
4. Look into Home Depot and Lowes truck rentals! They offer a variety of options including pickup trucks, vans, and moving trucks. The cost will vary, but at the time of this update, I can rent a pickup truck from Home Depot in my area for $129 for the day and UNLIMITED MILES!
