When I first discovered there was a World Market Outlet I literally squealed out loud. I’ve been looking forward to checking out this outlet ever since. There is something about this store that just gets me (home décor + unique snacks + alcohol = ’nuff said). Not only do they make nice quality goods, but the designs are on trend and the prices are much more affordable compared to some of the bigger home décor stores. So, factor in that everything at the outlet is 50% off and you got yourself some DEALZ.
Now that I’ve finished up my spotlights on the outlets near me (Serena and Lily, Williams Sonoma Home, West Elm, Restoration Hardware, and Le Creuset), I’m having to journey farther out. I dropped the kids off with grandma, refueled the car and my brain (thank you Dutch Bros), and started the drive. Tracy is approximately an hour and half from Vacaville and is home to the World Market Outlet and the Crate and Barrel Furniture Clearance Center. You won’t find much else in Tracy, but when you find yourself suddenly surrounded by windmills, you know you are getting close.
I decided to hit up the World Market Outlet first since it opens an hour earlier than the Crate and Barrel Furniture Clearance Center. The store is very open, well organized, and clean. Personally, I love when my outlet items start with $1xx.xx or less, so if you are that brand of frugal as well, then you’ll love this store. I’m honestly shocked I came away from here without buying anything. In fact, I haven’t purchased even one item since spotlighting these outlets! A small miracle? Perhaps. The budgeter in me prevails. I chatted with one of the employees to get some additional details after taking 1,432 photos (in true Outlet Girl fashion). The outlet is conveniently located about 25 minutes from the World Market Warehouse in Stockton and has been up and running for about 4 years. This is currently the only World Market Outlet in the country, though there was mention of a possible east coast outlet near that warehouse (no promises, just speculation). They get their deliveries in on either Monday or Tuesday (closed those days) and on Fridays. She mentioned the best days to go are Wednesday and Saturday. Even though they get their trucks on Friday, they tend to focus their efforts on helping their customers, but pull out that inventory for Saturday open. They don’t ship or deliver directly from their store, but they do partner with Dolly, so there are options. They are incredibly active over on their Instagram account, so definitely follow them there if this store interests you!
